This is an idea . . . well, more like another brain-fart, that I have been working on this morning (now that this week’s schedule has died down) and I really like how it came out. I am not going to give to much info in this post, so if you would like to see more, click on the Rescued Series link on the sidebar, and read the new post on the site. Thoughts? Opinions? Changes?

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book was amazing! I loved the concept, and the characters were just, umph! I love Slade and Trina’s characters. I have never actually read a book quite like this, and that made me love it even more.I am in
love with this book! Lisa Brown Roberts has brought a fresh plot to the world
of reading, and Playing the Player
has definitely won me over.
the Player a
good, light, summery read. Slade is funny, and Trina is admirable. Obviously,
the storyline follows the “bad-boy” who falls for the “good-girl”, but who does
not like that in a book? I saw Slade’s character to be inspired. He was great
with the kids. Granted he went from one girl to the next, but perhaps he did
not realize what he was looking for until Trina set of sparks.
the concept, and the characters were just, umph! I love Slade and Trina. I have
never actually read a book quite like this, and that made me love it even more.
The plot was refreshing, and I loved reading it. I also will be keeping an eye
open for more of Lisa Brown Roberts’ work.
Well, my creative brain has been at it again, driving at 300 mph, and not giving me enough time to actually work on what it is coming up with. But this time it is paying off. Wanna know what I have been up to? – CLICK HERE – That link will lead you to a blog-ish website that is solely for the use of updating my readers on The Rescued Series.
FAIR WARNING: I give some spoilers and sneak peeks. So if you do not want those, don’t go to the site. Otherwise, check it out! I will be updating it often, according to how quickly I get the series going, and finished. You will love what you find. Be sure to leave me comments and tell me what you think. Book Description: Rike and Peyton fell in love in college.
A boy from the wrong side of the tracks, covered
in ink and crooning in a bar is the last person a straight laced girl with an art major should fall for, but his rough edges made her jagged, alive, shaving
away the coddled southern princess and revealing a soul wild and brilliant.
They fell in love, despite her family and his past and all the reasons why it
wouldn’t work–and with their best friends, they made a life. Everyone was
supposed to live happily ever after. They, more than anyone, knows that life doesn’t
go according to plan. Rike and Peyton fell in love in college. A boy with a
guitar, and a poet’s heart, and a girl with freckles dusted over her nose, a
perfect fucking fairy tale. But what happens when the fairy tale doesn’t fall
apart–but is forgotten?
Plot/Characters: The description says it all, but let’s go
below the surface. Our two main characters are Rike and Peyton, and their best
friends are Lindsey and Scott. Rike loves Peyton; Scott and Lindsey are a
THING. I love the flow of the plot, the chapters that go to the before bring out the best of the
characters in the after. As all
awesome books do, there are many UPs and DOWNs. Fair warning: there are F-bombs
in here. So I would not suggest this book for anyone under-age. Also, I love
Peyton’s brother, Brody. I wish he were a real person. I wish Rike and Scott
were real! Rike and Scott’s brotherly relationship brings out how much they
care about each other, and their girlfriends.. Boy will be boys. Girls will be
girls. I love how the book switches from Peyton’s perspective to Rike’s. Being
in both of their heads helped me to understand both points of view.
My Honest Opinion/Thoughts: I would just like to start this off by saying,
I LOVED THIS BOOK! Not only is the cover beautiful, but the actual content is
exemplary. I love the characters; the plot just brought on a bunch of feels! I
felt slightly uncomfortable about certain scenes and details in the dialogue.
Granted, this is the first real New Adult novel I have read in my life,
so I shoved it aside. This was a book I could not put down, except to each
lunch. And it left me wanting more!! As it should.
Disclaimer: I have received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
About the Author: Nazarea Andrews is an avid reader and tends to write the stories she wants to read. She loves chocolate and coffee almost as much as she loves books, but not quite as much as she loves her kids. She lives in south Georgia with her husband, daughters, and overgrown dog.
This week has been very busy. so much so, that I have rarely been on any of my blogs, or anything. This morning was a little slower, so I have been able to catch up. Do not be alarmed, I shall return later this week, and my schedule will be back to normal.
Many thanks to everyone who has been reading and passing by my blog(s). Thank you, you’re beautiful, and don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise. 🙂
Disclaimer: This story was requested for a review by the author. Normally, I do not read books like this. But the plot itself was so intriguing, I could not refuse. And I made the cover for it. Also, this will be a non-spoiler review. If you want to know what happens, you will have to go read it on the site on your own. Let’s count how many 1D puns I throw in here, shall we? Fab-Louis!
Plot/Characters: The story follows the well known boy-band, One Direction. This story is told in former band-member Zayn’s POV (point of view) and wow, it is so well done. So well thought out, so well described; I think there should be another book that follows up on the events that lead up to the ones in this story. I was close to tears while reading the prologue, and knowing One Direction’s history, I was able to relate to the emotions that were projected. I got spooked at times (granted, it is paranormal themed, which I have been quite a bit lately . . . ), and I was on the edge of my seat. It was ama-Zayn.
My Honest Thoughts/Opinions: This story is bril-Liam. I did worry at the beginning, whether I would enjoy the story or not, but I did. There was one part that I did not quite follow, probably because it was something I do not support. All in all, I would give this 4.5 stars, if it were on GoodReads.
I say that you should go and read it for yourself. You might have a different perspective than mine. I know that I have not given any phenoma-Niall details for you to bite on. If you would like to see the other extraodi-Harry works of NoviReck, here are the links – Wattpad and Instagram
Be truthful! You know you only started read this post because of the title ;D LOL. Well, I just thought I would share what I am currently reading. My sister (you know who you are!) has owned Sophie Kinsella’s Remember Me? book for a LONG time, and I decided to try and read it. . . Again. You see, the first time I read it, was when I was . . . sixteen, and I NEVER read books that were adult-themed. At that time in my life, every time the subject arose, I would drop the book and never go back to it again. The content made me uncomfortable, and I just felt it was better to stay away from it. Now, nearly five years later, I am running out of books to read. I don’t want to re-read my ‘middle-grade’ books, and I want something new. I took a look at my sister’s metal book shelf, and it was staring right at me. ‘Might as well,’ I said to myself, and I picked up the book. I asked my sister to loan it to me, and I am just passed the midway point. I do not remember anything about the from the first time I read it, so this has been quite the experience. And spoiler, I am relating to the main character’s mother and her dogs! \o/ Dead serious! It’s a nutty thought, but I totally relate to her. Anyways, back to the book. I will be posting my thoughts on this book (maybe) tomorrow, because I have not put the book down until now. Well, that is all for now. Happy reading!
Imagine you are having this conversation with a guy. He can be anyone (a guy best friend, a BF etc.). What would be going through your mind at that moment? How would you respond? Would you go?
I made this a couple years ago, with intentions of making it into a short story. Which I never got around to doing, because I felt that I needed to have actually experienced it in order to write about it. But in truth, if this were an actual book, I would totally buy/read it. I like books like that. I think that is what I was aiming for, because I write stories that I want to read. I don’t really look at the ratings/numbers. I just like to write, and I write to improve. Well, I hope you liked this little spark of inspo, I will see you next time!

This book was awesome! Pike Logan is an amazing character, and you do not want to come between him and his lady. The thriller kept me on the edge of my seat, and though it has taken me almost three days to read it, everything picked right back up, as though I had never put down the book. Brad Taylor brought in the knowledge of what armed forces do, and that made the book believable. I wish I had the other books, because I see this is a third installment, or something like that. I look forward to reading more of Taylor’s work…
Plot/Characters: The storyline is full of hidden surprises, and crazy plot-twists around every corner. It is no question that the author does know how to give the reader(s) a picture of what this subject is like. And there are cliffhangers that leave you with questions. The characters were very realistic, and you, almost, immediately have your favorite. This book kind of reminded me of those Matt Damon movies (Green Zone, Bourne, etc), but in terms of suspense and the mysteries. Stuff like that happens all the time, we just don’t see or hear about it. Obviously, this is an adult thriller. There is mention of adult elements, but it is not an overload. You want the bad guy(s) to get caught; you want Pike to get revenge for certain scenerios that take place. And you want him and Jennifer to make up their minds about each other. Yes, it has that dash of romance.
My Honest Opinions/Thoughts: I already said what I thought about it, but I definitely enjoyed this book. I wish I had more of Brad Taylor’s work, because I want to continue following Pike Logan and his partner, Jennifer. Since I own a print copy, I will definitely read it again.

Hello! I figured it would be a good idea to share some of my finish and upcoming works on Wattpad.com – The Rescued Series is a series of short stories, Christian fiction. It started with my story Saved (which you can read HERE), and all of my readers kept asking me for a sequel, or to make the story go on longer. I found it hard to make the story longer, and to make a sequel, because I just felt it would take away from morals in the story. Needless to say, I finally managed to write a prequel to the story, called Believe (can be read HERE). They are quite short, but it gives me reason to keep going, because I have been planning future plots all month long. I have the final part of Believe ready to be posted over the weekend, and then I am going to start posting the next story in the series. The next story will be called ‘All Of Me’ (yes, like the song). Below are all the covers that I have made before-hand. Have a look! The other covers are not official yet, but they are my motivation to write the stories. Well, I will be back. Have a good one!
